Mark Sanchez doesn't even have his hand on his chest for the national anthem. Go back to Russia.

this is quality commentary.

Jets miss a field goal on their opening drive. Great job.

John Henderson, let em know what's good.

The Colts are on top for the exact reason I knew they would be. Peyton Manning is probably the best quarterback in the league in finding the coverage spots vacated by blitzers. That and the Jets safeties are getting embarssed today. Back to the drawing board for Rex Ryan.

blitzing Peyton Manning is a losing battle

Malcolm Jenkins is inactive for the Saints. Total shame that we won't get to see him put on a clinic for how to hold a receiver and still give up a reception in primetime.

I'm curious to know if the Jets Superbowl parade is still on, or if Ryan is rescheduling it.

Addai is a stiff, but he's made some sweet plays tonight.

For every reception Pierre Garcon makes Wyclef Jean will embezzle $10,000 from a Haitian relief fund.

Fuck both the colts and jets, but I was routing for the lesser of 2 evils which for me are the Colts. Go saints! Since week four I had the feeling the Colts/saints were on a collision course for the bowl. Fuck favre in his muddy Mississippi anal cavity.

I justified it as; I'm not rooting for the Colts, I'm rooting for football. Any super bowl with the New York Jets in it is a fucking travesty.

haha i bet the vikings make it to the superbowl now and dont have Brett Favre to start.

This Saints Vikings game is nuts. 5 turnovers. Bernard Berrian and and Reggie Bush both finally playing like their contracts dictate. Brett Favre gets his leg shattered and never misses a snap. Favre just got handed a classic Brett Favre pass interference call.

Anyone else think that Favre's daughter was hot for like 10 seconds until you saw the resemblance?

Vikings just tied it up with 5 minutes to go. wtf.

HAHA!!! Favre throws a pick with seconds left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He could have ran it about 10 yards and it would have been a chip shot field goal for the Vikes kicker!!! LAUGHING OUT MOTHER FUCKING LOUD!!!!!!! OT TIME. Come on Saints. New Orleans just won the overtime toss!!!

Bush gets knocked out of field goal range in OT. Thank God. Maybe I won't have to watch another drive die while they try and play for a 200 yard field goal.

I have been watching football since 1978, haha. It is surreal to me to see the Cardinals in the Super Bowl last year, and now the Saints there this year. Both these franchises being horrific teams over the decades. On that note, this was THE best NFC championship game I have ever watched.

I agree. This was probably the most intense game I've watched.

Aside from 5 turnovers killing the Vikings, that botched interference call on Leber may have been what cost them the game.

Truth. I really wanted to see the Vikings pull it off but it's also hilarious knowing that Favre's 4th quarter pick will probably be the last play of his career. So much for going out on top haha.

I was hoping someone would snap Favre's leg like a twig over the course of this season so the retirement decision would be made for him...but now we'll hear nonstop about will he/won't he for at least one more offseason.....awesome

I'm gonna say something that's unpopular, but here goes...

The INT wasn't Favre's fault. That drive should have been a 3 and out, but the Vikes caught a huge break when Tracy Porter couldn't wrap up a tackle on Bernard Berrian. They put the Saints on the run on a 41 yard drive, but as soon as they crossed the 50 look at where their play calling went:

C.Taylor left guard to NO 33 for 14 yards
C.Taylor right guard to NO 33 for no gain
A.Peterson right end to NO 33 for no gain

Instead of keeping with the gameplan that was cutting up the Saints D they go ultra conservative, telegraph the run, and try to lay it up for a 50+ yard field goal like it was a sure thing. And they had timeouts. The whole field was wide open, and they're running out the clock like they're inside the 20. You add in the 12 men in the huddle debacle (again, not Favre's fault), and all of a sudden you're in a must pass situation with the all time leader in post season INTs.

The Vikings had been accruing bad karma all season, and Childress walked right into this one. His characteristic conservative play calling, and the team's lack of discipline rolled out the red carpet for Favre's induction to the hall of shame.

It's a conspiracy.

[Jan 25,2010 4:50pm - RustyPS ""]
while I do agree the playcalling was suspect, and the 12 men in the huddle was idiotic to have happen on what should've been the last drive of the NFC championship game, Favre should've never thrown it in the middle of the field across his body with all of his momentum going towards the right sideline....as Aikman said during one of the replays of that play, that throw was the classic "what not to do" for QBs

you're absolutely right, it should've never gotten to that point, but it did, and Favre fucked up
 ______________________________________
[Jan 25,2010 5:28pm - SkinSandwich ""]
Favre threw that across the body INT just so he can get more whore attention he craves so much. Positive or negative. I want to cum on his daughters buttocks.
