""] i wish i was still around to go to this show. dont you think its still a little premature to call this death threat's reunion? there should be at least a year or two year grace period before a band can have a reunion. |

| _________________________________ [Feb 5,2005 12:28pm - tbone_r ""] best show i've been to since i can remember. and since the rev wants other people to review shows, and he wasn't there last night....i'll give it a go. shere khan: i've never seen them before, although i always see their name on bills with toughguy hardcore bands (not that i dont like toughguy hardcore). they were pretty good, better than i expected. choose your victim?: didn't have a great crowd reaction, but i thought they were pretty good. kind of rock n' roll hardcore, i enjoyed it. colin of arabia: watching nick warm up on drums may be the best part of the show (not to take away from the rest of the band). coa definitely gets better everytime i see them, i know people say that all the time, but with these guys it's definitely true. the talent and the energy on stage is one of the best in hardcore. however...they could start playing a little quicker, setting up/waiting for band members always seems long. blacklisted: lots of energy, i saw them once with the distance, the promise, cbk and bane i think...they seemed like a filler band before, but i think after last night i might go buy a cd. wrongside: awesome. the vocals were way too low, but i still thoroughly enjoyed their set (although i may be biased because they're one of my favorite bands). they played like 6/7 songs, 1 of which was a cover and i forget what song it was, maybe ill remember later. righteous jams: a few of the guys in wrongside are in righteous jams too, so they quickly switched a few guys and RJ played 2 songs i think. i love righteous jams, they were great. too bad they didn't get a full set death before dishonor: great. played lots of new stuff, but played a few off true til death as well. i picked up the new cd, listened to it, and liked it. death threat: i think this is where brophy took his shirt off and exposed his hairy back. they were awesome though, best crowd participation of the night (as expected). most of the stuff was off for god and government i believe. i really like their new cd, they didn't play more than 1/2 songs off it though. other highlights: -mikexmike punched his ex-gf -chick fight at the end of the show, one girl w/a cut under her eye. -good showing: lots of people. awesome participation. great show |

| ________________________________ [Feb 5,2005 12:33pm - XmikeX ""] Wrongside covered Paranoid by Black Sabbath. haha not your typical hardcore cover, but it was fun. That band is great to watch. It's bands like that that make that whole style of hardcore worthwhile. Alot of bands that play that style just come off as snobs, and think people owe them some sort of debt for ripping off Floorpunch or whatever. Wrongside rules, so does RJ, so does Outbreak, so does Learn, so do probably some others. |
