A cable line is like your water pipes, but it's not filled with water, it's filled with radio frequencies that travel to your home. Just like with water pipes, if there is a joint that is bad, radio frequencies leak out. Unlike water, they leak in all directions. Most of the time this isn't a problem cause much of the frequecies are already in the air. they will typically broadcast 91.3Fm's signal on 91.3fm, etc... Some times they change this and you will be driving by someone's house and there will be a dead zone. |
