So I have been working at this company here in MA. I'm getting paid hourly working well over 40 hours a week. We don't get paid overtime here. Meaning time and a half and such. I feel as if this is illegal. Does anybody know if they can do this?

That is illegal.

But it happens all over the place.

NESN pays their employee half time for OT hours. You can probably complain and raise a huge shitstorm. But they'll more than likely just end up firing you and hiring someone desperate enough to keep quiet about it.

the nature of your position might have something to do with this. if the company defines your position as a "professional" or someone involved in decision making processes, then you aren't eligible for overtime and should be salary anyway. assuming you're some monkey at a typewriter and just doing administrative data entry work, you need to claim that $$$, son.
