100 Demons post new single, announce new LP[views:5][posts:0]_______________________________________ [Apr 21,2026 10:35am - the_reverend ""] For over 25 years, 100 Demons have stood as one of hardcore’s most uncompromising forces— a band built on raw conviction and a sound that refuses to be boxed in. With Embrace the Black Light, their long-awaited third album incoming on Closed Casket Activities, Connecticut’s own deliver twelve tracks that push the boundaries even further [pre-order]. Embrace the Black Light is the band's first new LP in over two decades and it marks a new chapter in the 100 Demons story— one forged with patience, intention, and an ear toward something lasting. Written by Pete Morcey, Rich Rosa, Rick Brayall and Jeremy Braddock, alongside Sean Martin rejoining the group, Embrace the Black Light was built brick by brick over the course of 2025, allowing each song to breathe and find its shape. Recorded within the walls of Silver Bullet Studios in Burlington, Connecticut, produced and recorded by Greg Thomas and engineered alongside Chris Teti, the end result is the most fully realized record of 100 Demons' discography. The album's pummeling first single "Meat for the Beast" is out today and 100 Demons vocalist Pete Morcey comments: “As with most of the songs on 'Embrace the Black Light,' 'Meat for the Beast' was written and formulated in the studio during the last year. We mixed in a couple styles on this one blending 80s thrash metal and heavy pounding hardcore to give it the signature 100 Demons sound.” https://100demons.bandcamp.com/album/embrace-the-black-light Embrace the Black Light opens without losing any of the band’s signature ferocity. Elsewhere, the album stretches without losing its footing, adding texture and dimension to an album that earns every moment of its runtime. Mastered by Will Putney of Graphic Nature Audio and featuring the artwork of James Bousema, the LP features guest vocals from Twitching Tongues/God’s Hate members Colin Young and Taylor Young. Morcey continues: “Writing and recording 'Embrace the Black Light' was an experience like no other. We were able to take our time and carefully craft every single song on this release. Working with Greg Thomas and Chris Teti at Silver Bullet made us realize we would not have been able to do this record without them. And with the guidance of Justin from Closed Casket Activities, we know they brought out the best of us on every level.” Embrace the Black Light is 100 Demons at their most deliberate and their most dangerous.
